On a TV box (Android TV, Google TV, AOSP)

  1. On the TV box, install the free app Downloader (by AFTVnews) from the Google Play Store.
  2. Open Downloader. When it asks, allow it to install apps: Settings → Apps → Special app access → Install unknown apps → Downloader → Allowed (the names can be a little different on some boxes).
  3. In Downloader's address box, type:
    happypieplayer.com/HappyPie.apk
  4. Press Go, then Install when it asks. Choose Delete afterwards to remove the downloaded file (HappyPie stays installed).
  5. Open HappyPie Player Pro from your apps.

On a phone or tablet

  1. Tap Download For Android above (or open happypieplayer.com/HappyPie.apk in your browser).
  2. Open the downloaded file. If your phone asks, allow your browser to install apps, then tap Install.
  3. Open HappyPie Player Pro from your apps.

Then

  1. Accept the Terms of Use, and your 3-day free trial starts.
  2. Add your playlist: your XC (Xtream Codes) login, an M3U link or an M3U file.
  3. To keep HappyPie after the trial, buy it once for $19.99 with the code shown on your screen. One purchase covers up to 5 of your Android devices.
